About the Role

This role supports the delivery of the site scorecard through the improvement of material quality performance.

As a material improvement technician, you will lead Material Continuous Improvement projects across site, as well as meetings and Root Cause Problem Solving activities.

You will be responsible for the analysis of OEE losses, in depth line studies and report on findings and you will develop long term, technically robust mitigations/solutions to prevent repeat occurrences of issues in direct collaboration with materials suppliers.

About you

We are looking for someone who is, first and foremost, passionate and engaged about the role. Someone who can demonstrate great communication and collaboration skills and who is at ease with challenging conversations with a wide variety of internal and external partners.

This role involves the engagement of multifunctional departments to find the best, most robust solutions, so you will be able to articulate your vision clearly to others, and rely on your resilience and your proactive, structured problem-solving skills (DMAIC, Six Sigma / Manufacturing excellence). Someone who enjoys working autonomously and with sense of ownership, a true Completer – Finisher.

We’re looking for someone with a solid understanding of packaging materials and equipment, as well as technical experience and the ability to understand and measure product (from vernier to digital scanners). Experience with SAP, Harford is helpful.

Ideally, you will come from an operations or technical role, but manufacturing experience will also be considered.

Normally, you can expect to be contacted with feedback within 7 days after the closing date – sometimes it might take longer due to a high volume of applications, but rest assured you will hear from us!

If you are progressed to next stage, for this role you will be invited for a Zoom call interview with the Hiring Manager and someone else from the company (it might be a peer, a Line Manager or HR. We value diverse points of view and opinions and try to inject these whenever possible in our decisions). In some cases, there might be a second interview.

And that’s it!

Once all interviews are completed, you will then be notified of the results of your application.

If you’re successful, you will receive your offer and once you have accepted, you will be asked to help us complete your backchecks, this to ensure everyone’s safety on our sites. All you’ll have to do is to provide some documents and brief information. Don’t worry, you will always have someone from our Talent Engagement Team ready to support you during the entire process!

If this time you have been unsuccessful, while it can be disappointing, please know that often we must make difficult decisions and are able to only choose one among many high caliber candidates.
