About the role

As a Site Management Coordinator within our hardworking team at Glenkinchie you’ll play a pivotal role in the contractor management process and will be responsible for and control site risk assessments and method statements.

Be the first point of contact for inductions, permit compliance and be responsible for writing low risk non permit-table documentation.

Drive the risk compliance agenda across the site to ensure improved site performance!

Be responsible for ensuring zero additional costs to site through non-compliance, and (in line with Diageo’s code of conduct) to source the most financially viable option when identifying suppliers of materials/training.

Play a key role in supporting the leadership team as the need arises, with the compliance agenda to ensure we’re delivering against site vision and mission!

Health and safety compliance is key and you’ll be at the forefront of making sure this is supervised alongside other Key Performance Indicators and targets including reviewing, actioning and closing out governance checks.

Be the key person on site for auditory compliance, collaborating closely with the auditor and other internal or external partners!

About you

We’re looking for someone who can work well within a team as well as the ability to make effective decisions and thrive in situations where they can solve problems.

You’ll be able to push forward your own ideas about improvements to current approaches and appraise new opportunities. You’ll have the drive to make a positive difference to manufacturing excellence and show your excellent communication skills.

You’ll be working alongside both internal and external partners in order to achieve individual and shared outcomes.

It’d be helpful if you have/or be working towards a NEBOSH qualification however this is not crucial.

You’ll have demonstrable knowledge of Health and Safety legislation and environmental risk principles.

You’re going to be responsible for management reporting systems and so you’ll have proven IT skills.
