Storage ISR Role Summary

Serves as primary seller for the Dell EMC Primary, Specialty and Converged Storage portfolios for Commercial inside led accounts.  Proactively sells directly to customers, while keeping the account team informed.  Builds relationships across multiple levels of decision makers and influencers within accounts, prospects to generate pipeline and may engage product specialists as needed.

Key Responsibilities

  • Understands customer’s business, value-drivers and org
  • Communicates Dell EMC’s unique value to customers
  • Engages up to CXO level & demonstrates measurable ROI
  • Maps customer challenges to Dell EMC storage capabilities
  • Responsible for prospecting & pipeline generation
  • Manages virtual team of specialists & resources
  • Identifies, develops, manages, and closes business

Essential Requirements

  • Has proven track record of telephone based solution selling within IT industry
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills
  • Experience using Salesforce.com CRM
  • Adaptable to change
  • Team player
  • Desire to develop

Desirable Requirements

  • Experience selling into Acquisition & Medium Business accounts
  • Experience selling Storage, Converged/Hyper Converged & Data protection solutions
