About Enterprise Security

Our role is to make sure that our business are ‘security confident’ and doing the right things to keep our sensitive data secure. We effectively own the ‘secure’ theme in the 2022 Technology strategy, but also have a role in driving technical excellence through modern platforms and tooling that supports seamless user experiences; creating optimised services that deliver our business KPIs; and a ‘security by default’ culture where people understand, take ownership, and champion security matters.
We employ a range of technologies, processes and practices to protect equipment, data and networks from attack, damage and unauthorised access. Our core pillars within Enterprise Security include Security Risk & Governance, Security Operations, Identity and Access Management, Data Security and Security Culture & Skills. Our aim is to support the ambitions of the business and innovate and achieve a consistent good standard across all security disciplines.
What you will be doing
The scheme consists of an 8 week immersive dive into the Enterprise Security world of our business including business lead insight sessions to provide a wide base of exposure within the company in both investment and technology. Each intern will be allocated a buddy from our graduate cohort who will provide informal support and promote integration with our M&G Plc family. You’ll also have the opportunity to attend networking and social events which are essential for promoting the work life balance encouraged.
